In July, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved nine new electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems for operation. 90% of them were manufactured by the Ukrainian defense industry.

According to the ministry, 90% of the new radio-electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems were manufactured by the Ukrainian defense industry. The ministry emphasizes that in modern warfare, the effectiveness of missions largely depends on the performance of the electronic warfare/reconnaissance systems used by the Ukrainian military.
In total, during the first seven months of 2025, the Ministry of Defense approved nearly 80 models of electronic warfare/reconnaissance systems for use, and last year — more than 150. Almost all of them are also manufactured in Ukraine.
