        Syrskyi presents Ukrainian Army strategy for 2025 to NATO Supreme Allies

        Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi briefed his NATO counterparts on the situation at the front, spoke about Russian plans and presented the Ukrainian Army’s strategy for 2025.

        According to the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of the Commanders-in-Chief of the Armed Forces was held at NATO headquarters on January 16. Syrskyi took part in the meeting via video link.

        During his speech, Syrsky emphasized the importance for Ukraine of strengthening its air defense, in particular to protect critical infrastructure, as well as the ability to strike military targets deep inside the territory of the Russian Federation.

        He also called on partners to invest in Ukraine’s defense industry based on the “Danish model”, as well as to provide additional support for military training, including training outside Ukraine and training at Ukrainian training grounds with the assistance of NATO instructors.

        The Allies assured that their support for Ukraine would remain unchanged and confirmed their readiness to provide the necessary assistance.
