The number of victims of the Russian strike on Poltava has risen to seven. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
According to him, rescuers rescued 22 people from the destroyed multi-storey building, and another 14 people were injured, including three children.
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the tragedy. The SES dog handlers with search dogs are involved. Rescuers, police and volunteers continue to clear the rubble and help the victims.
‘Another attack on civilians is another war crime by Russia. Investigators are already documenting the evidence,’ emphasised Klymenko.
