Commanders of military command bodies, unit and sub-unit commanders held a meeting to improve the situation in the Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, and adjacent areas.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past week, the enemy has been searched for and destroyed in an area of about 11.5 square kilometers in Pokrovsk.
“The enemy, having suffered significant losses and encountered our effective resistance, was forced to deploy its operational reserve in the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration. The aggressor is trying to constantly change the direction of its attacks here, using insidious infiltration tactics, including disguising itself as civilians or using them as cover,” the General Staff reported.
During the meeting, the military discussed strengthening the group in the Pokrovsk direction, coordinating the use of reserves, and ensuring the advance of Ukrainian assault units. The General Staff also stated that they are continuing to work on maintaining existing and establishing additional logistics routes.
“We must provide maximum support to our forces and carry out timely medical evacuation of the wounded. We must not only hold our positions, but also preserve the lives and health of our defenders,” the statement said.
