On August 24, Russian forces struck an apartment building in one of Chernihiv’s residential neighborhoods with a drone. Sixteen people were wounded.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Chernihiv region.
Among the 16 wounded are two children aged 12 and 17. The injured are receiving medical assistance.
According to the preliminary conclusion of explosives experts, Russian forces used a Geran-5 UAV for the strike.
Investigative police teams, patrol officers, forensic experts, explosives specialists, community police officers, State Emergency Service rescuers and other emergency services are working at the scene.
