        Russians shelled DTEK mine in Donetsk region: one dead and several injured

        Russian occupation forces shelled a DTEK mine in Donetsk region. One employee was killed and three others were injured as a result of the attack.

        This was reported by the DTEK press service.

        The company noted that the shelling damaged buildings and equipment and caused a power outage at the mine. During the attack, 146 miners were underground, and they are gradually being brought to the surface.

        “The enemy killed our colleague. Three more were wounded. We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” the company said, stressing that the victims are being provided with all necessary assistance.

        The head of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine, Mykhailo Volynets, said that the shelling caused a power outage in the mines in the Dobropillia community. Power has already been restored.
