On January 3, Russian troops launched a group missile attack on Chernihiv region, using at least three ballistic missiles.
According to Dmytro Bryzhynsky, head of Chernihiv’s military administration, two private houses were destroyed and one person was injured.
Over the last half hour, the Air Force reported a number of ballistic missiles fired across Ukraine, including in the western regions and at Lviv, but explosions occurred only in Chernihiv.
Updated. One person has already been reported dead, said Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
“Today the enemy launched a triple rocket attack on residential buildings on the outskirts of Chernihiv. Several houses were heavily damaged. We already know about one dead person. There are wounded,” said Chaus.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
