Russian occupation forces are deliberately attacking Ukrainian rescuers as they clear up the aftermath of shelling.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Four rescuers were wounded today as a result of enemy attacks.
In Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, a Russian kamikaze drone attacked rescuers who were evacuating civilians from a dangerous area. Two firefighters were wounded and a service vehicle was damaged. The victims were given first aid and taken to a medical facility.
Two more rescuers were injured in Kherson when an enemy FPV drone hit a truck belonging to one of the State Emergency Service units.
“The occupiers are deliberately targeting rescuers, knowing that they are the last line of defense for the civilian population. They are targeting those who save human lives every day,” the State Emergency Service said.
