Ukrainian defenders refuted the Russian General Staff’s fake news about the alleged successes of the occupiers in Kupiansk. The enemy group that filmed staged footage with the Russian flag was destroyed, and Russian flag became a trophy of the Defense Forces.
This was reported by the 10th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To confirm their fake successes in Kupiansk, the Russians published footage showing their soldiers, dressed in civilian clothes, posing on the streets of the Ukrainian city with their flag.
The Defense Forces reported the elimination of the Russian DRG and released footage of the operation. After destroying the occupiers, the Ukrainian military captured the Russian flag.
“In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy tried to highlight its ‘successes’ through staged propaganda materials. To do this, the enemy even resorted to changing into civilian clothes and unfurling their flag in Kupiansk. All these attempts proved futile. Ukrainian defenders instantly destroy such demonstrations along with enemy assault groups,” Ukrainian soldiers said.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 4:00 p.m. on September 3, the occupiers carried out three assaults in the Kupiansk direction in the area of the village of Zagryzove and in the direction of Kupiansk.
