On October 25 and overnight into October 26, Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck the Energia plant in Yelets, Lipetsk region, Russia, which produces power supply components for Russian weapons. The General Staff also confirmed the results of previous strikes on the Proton-Electrotex and Togliattikauchuk enterprises, as well as a site used to prepare and launch attack drones near Donetsk.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

According to the General Staff, the enterprise is the only manufacturer of batteries for glide-and-correction modules used with aerial bombs and also produces batteries for Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems and sea-launched cruise missiles.

The General Staff said the strike complicates Russia’s production of power sources for missiles, guided aerial bombs and other weapons.

        Main Proton-Electrotex workshop destroyed

The General Staff also confirmed the results of the October 23 strike on the Proton-Electrotex enterprise in Oryol.

According to the General Staff, the main microchip production workshop was destroyed, while a building and the company’s servers were damaged.

The General Staff said the damage complicates the production of components for cruise and ballistic missiles.

        Attack-drone preparation site damaged

Near Donetsk, a strike on October 23 damaged three buildings used to prepare and equip attack UAVs, as well as one launch rail.

According to the General Staff, the damage reduces Russia’s ability to launch attack drones of various types.

        Strike on Togliattikauchuk

The consequences of the October 24 strike on the Togliattikauchuk plant in Togliatti, Samara region, were also confirmed.

A process pipeline, two butyl rubber production units and one distillation unit were damaged at the facility.

The General Staff said the strike affects the production chain for solid rocket fuel used in tactical and ballistic missiles.

The General Staff stressed that Ukraine’s Defence Forces strike enemy military targets in accordance with the right to self-defence guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter.

Earlier, “Glavnoe in Ukraine” reported that Voronezh came under one of the most massive drone attacks. Fires broke out and explosions were heard across the city, while, according to open-source reports, the VASO aircraft plant and other industrial facilities were among the targets.
