Russian drones hit apartment block in Okhtyrka: seven injured

During the night of 8 December, Russian forces attacked the Okhtyrka community with three strike UAVs, hitting a nine-storey residential building. At least seven people were injured, and rescue operations are ongoing.

The night drone attack on Okhtyrka was reported by Oleh Hryhorov. According to him, the UAV strike caused a fire and extensive damage to the apartment block. Initial reports mentioned five injured civilians, but the figure was later updated to seven. All victims were taken to hospital: two were admitted, while five received treatment and were discharged for outpatient care.

Hryhorov noted that some residents managed to reach the basement after the air-raid alert, while others were rescued from damaged floors. An emergency response headquarters has been set up, and resilience points are operating to support affected residents.
