On April 22, at around 6:10 a.m., Russian forces attacked a civilian KIA Cerato with a drone near the village of Cherkaski Tishky in the Kharkiv region. The car was traveling along the highway toward the village of Tsyrkuny.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
A 66-year-old man was killed in the strike. Another man, 69 years old, was injured. The victim was taken to a medical facility in Kharkiv.
The type of drone used by the Russians in the strike is being determined.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
