On the morning of August 29, Russian drones attacked Kyiv and Kyiv region. A 14-year-old girl was killed in Boryspil district, while there were injuries and damage in several districts of the capital.
The consequences of the attack were reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko.
In Boryspil district, a 14-year-old girl was killed as a result of an enemy UAV attack. There were also injured people and damaged civilian facilities in the district, and work to eliminate the consequences of the attack is ongoing.
In Kyiv, the consequences of strikes and falling drones were recorded in several districts in the morning.
In Sviatoshynskyi district, two people were injured after a private house was damaged. Medics provided assistance at the scene. UAV debris also caused a fire in an apartment on the ninth floor of a residential building — the fire was extinguished and there were no injuries there.
In Holosiivskyi district, the roof of a two-storey warehouse building caught fire after a drone fell. According to available information, there were no injuries.
In Podilskyi district, a UAV fell on the territory of a non-residential development, and a drone also struck a non-residential area.
In Obolonskyi district, a UAV fell in an open area. A nearby cafe premises was damaged, and medics are providing assistance to an injured child.
