This evening, August 6, in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, three people were killed due to artillery shelling, including a rescuer. Four were wounded, three of them SES employees.
This was reported by the SES of Ukraine.
The rescuers came under artillery fire while inspecting the territory after previous enemy shelling – a direct hit occurred in the SES official vehicle.
“As a result of the strike, a 23-year-old rescuer, Danylo Khyzhnyak, and two civilians died,” the report says.
Four more people were injured – three SES employees and a civilian.
