Over the past day, Russian troops have unleashed a new wave of terror in the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region. Dozens of settlements have come under heavy shelling and drone attacks. As a result, at least eight civilians have been wounded, including elderly women and an 85-year-old pensioner.

According to the National Police, the affected settlements include Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Darivka, Chervonyi Yar, Poniativka, Novokairy, Kizomys, Stanislav, and more than a dozen other villages.

The occupiers fired artillery at private and multi-storey buildings, kindergartens, hospitals, garages and even a post office. The fire from FPV drones and mortars continued day and night.

In Novokairy, a kindergarten was damaged by shelling, and in Ponyativka, another preschool education facility was damaged. In Bilozerka, debris wounded two 77-year-old women, and a 68-year-old man was hit by a drone right near the post office — he is in the hospital with serious injuries.

The situation was no less tragic in Chervonyi Yar, where a drone attack burned 30 hectares of wheat and another 10 hectares of dry vegetation. In Darivka, an FPV drone strike seriously injured a 38-year-old woman — she suffered a traumatic brain injury and multiple shrapnel wounds.

In the Dnipro district, a 65-year-old man tried to pick up a Russian drone that had not exploded. The UAV detonated right in his hands. The man was hospitalised with serious injuries. The police are again urging citizens not to touch suspicious objects.

In total, 21 war crimes by the Russian Federation were recorded in the region over the past 24 hours. Six high-rise buildings, 14 private houses, four cars, three farm buildings, a hospital building, two kindergartens, a garage and other property were damaged.

Investigators, bomb disposal experts and specialists are working at the sites of the strikes. All shelling is being documented for further investigation.
