The number of people wounded in Zaporizhzhia after a Russian attack has risen to six. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this.

According to him, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Later, residents of the city saw smoke, which Fedorov said was the result of the Russian attack.
After the initial reports of explosions, more blasts were heard in the region. An air raid alert was still in effect at the time.
Regional authorities first reported one injured person. Fedorov later clarified that the number of wounded had increased to six.
Medical workers are providing assistance to those injured.
The regional governor urged residents of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region to remain in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted.
Zaporizhzhia is regularly targeted by Russian missile, guided bomb and drone attacks. Local authorities continue to urge residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in shelters during attack threats.

A fire broke out after the attack. Warehouse premises and an office building were damaged. Windows, facades and roofs of nearby buildings were also damaged, and cars caught fire.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service clarified that Zaporizhzhia was attacked by Russian drones. As a result of the strike, four passenger cars caught fire. A one-story building was also partially destroyed, and its roof caught fire over an area of 800 square meters.
Rescuers have already extinguished the fires. All emergency services of the city worked at the scene.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 28 people, including four children.
