Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office are conducting an operation to expose an alleged criminal organization involving members of parliament and senior officials from the Office of the President.
The organization allegedly operated under the direction of a serving and a former Ukrainian lawmaker, NABU reported.
Senior officials from the Office of the President and other individuals were also allegedly involved in the scheme.
NABU has not yet disclosed the suspects’ identities, details of the case or the potential legal classification of the alleged offenses. The bureau said further information would be released later.
