On May 4, at around 9:40 a.m., Russian forces launched a missile strike on the town of Merefa in the Kharkiv district. Three people are known to have been killed.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synyegubov.
According to preliminary data, three people were killed as a result of the strike on Merefa. Eight more residents were injured.
Fires broke out at the site of the strike. A private home and a car are known to have caught fire, and several private and apartment buildings, four stores, and a car repair shop were also damaged.
Cleanup efforts following the attack are ongoing.
