Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported new intelligence findings regarding Russia’s actions, including its cooperation with Iran and plans to expand the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

As the head of state noted on social media following a briefing by Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) Oleh Ivashchenko, Ukraine has irrefutable evidence that Russia continues to provide intelligence information to the Iranian regime. According to him, Russia uses its own capabilities in radio-technical and electronic intelligence, as well as part of the data obtained through cooperation with partners in the Middle East.

In addition, the HUR regularly provides assessments of the situation on the frontline and internal Russian information regarding battlefield activity. Zelenskyy stated that the Russian command constantly attempts to exaggerate its achievements on the battlefield and then use such inflated data in the negotiation process.

He also said that Russia is planning further deployment of ground control stations for long-range UAVs both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of Belarus.

“We will respond accordingly,” Zelenskyy said.

The president instructed the head of the HUR to inform international partners and the media about the intelligence data that can be made public.
