A man was killed and three other people were injured in Kherson after a Russian drone struck a civilian car. On the morning of July 1, Russian forces again attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone in the city’s Central district.
The State Emergency Service and the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this.
According to rescuers, a passenger car caught fire in one of the city’s districts on Tuesday evening after being hit by a drone. Firefighters extinguished the blaze while facing the threat of repeated strikes.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration said the car attacked by Russian forces the previous evening in central Kherson was carrying a local resident born in 1975. He sustained fatal injuries.
Three other residents were injured. They remain in hospital with blast injuries and bone fractures. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.
On the morning of July 1, Russian troops again used a drone to attack a civilian car in the Central district of Kherson.
As a result of that strike, a 36-year-old man sustained a blast injury, shrapnel wounds to his face and torso, and multiple burns. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Rescuers and medical workers are operating under the constant threat of repeated attacks.
