According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on Monday, September 15, variable cloudiness is expected across Ukraine. Moderate rains will pass in western regions, while in Zakarpattia and the Carpathians heavy showers and thunderstorms are possible at night. The rest of the country will remain dry.
Winds will be mainly southeast, 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from +8…+13°C, warmer along the seacoast at +14…+19°C. Daytime highs will reach +20…+25°C, though in the west it will be cooler at +16…+21°C.
In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, no precipitation is forecast for September 15. Temperatures in the capital will be +11…+13°C at night and +21…+23°C during the day. Across the region, nighttime temperatures will be +8…+13°C, rising to +20…+25°C during the day.
Forecasters also warn of hazardous weather conditions until the end of September 14. Wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in western regions, with thunderstorms possible in Volyn, Lviv, and Zakarpattia. A yellow hazard level has been issued.
Such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, and public utility services.
