Ukraine has secured the release of seven citizens who were being held in Budapest. They are now safe and have already returned to Ukrainian territory.
This was reported by Andrii Sybiha. According to him, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already been informed about the release.

The minister noted that the Ukrainians have already crossed the state border and Ukrainian consuls provided them with the necessary assistance.
Sybiha thanked the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary for their work in securing the citizens’ release.
He also expressed gratitude to law enforcement agencies, state institutions, state banks, and everyone who helped achieve their release.
