The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold back the Russian invaders’ offensive. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an evening report.
As of 16:00, 64 combat engagements took place. The most intense fighting continues in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors.
The enemy is carrying out massive artillery attacks and air strikes. Localities in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions came under fire.
Ukrainian troops repelled most of the attacks, but fighting continues in several areas. The situation remains tense but under control.
