Number of people injured in Kharkiv drone attack rises to five

The number of people injured in this morning’s drone attack on Kharkiv has risen to five, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov. Four of the victims have been hospitalized and are receiving qualified medical care. Two people were rescued by emergency workers from blocked apartments.

Russian forces launched three “Geran-2” drones at Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district. The attack damaged a civilian enterprise and nearby residential buildings, causing two fires — one has been extinguished and the other localized.

All emergency services are working at the scene, and efforts to eliminate the consequences of the strike are ongoing. Syniehubov urged residents of Kharkiv and the region not to ignore air raid alerts and to immediately move to shelters when danger arises.
