The 1084th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 139 combat engagements were recorded.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy conducted 100 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 140 drones. In addition, it carried out almost six thousand attacks, including 200 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,853 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes near the settlements of Prykolotne, Velykyi Burluk, Shevchenkove, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Bahatyr, Kostiantynopil, Dniproenergia, Shevchenko, Sichneve, Hulyaypole and Tavriyske.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman and Siversk sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions four times near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, nine occupants’ attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove.
The enemy attacked 12 times in the Liman sector. He tried to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Novolyubivka, Yampolivka, Terny and Kolodyazi.
In the Seversky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske, Serebryanka and Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, eight combat engagements were registered in the areas of Vasyukivka, Bila Hora and Chasovyi Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 11 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 47 aggressor’s assault and offensive actions in the areas of Baranivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne.
Novopavlivske, Prydniprovsky, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 12 times near Zelenivka, Vremivka and Novosilka.
No combat engagements were registered in the Orikhivske, Huliaypillia and Prydniprovskyi sectors yesterday.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. The enemy made 450 artillery attacks, 12 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Also, the invaders’ aviation carried out 48 air strikes, dropping 67 drones.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
