        Night attack on Kyiv and region: two people killed

        On the night of January 27-28, Russian forces launched strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region. Two people were killed and four others were injured.

        This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

        In the Bilohorod community of the Bucha district, a UAV attack caused a fire in an apartment on the seventh floor of a residential building.

        Four people were injured: a woman, two children with acute stress reactions, and a man with smoke inhalation. While extinguishing the fire, rescuers found the bodies of two victims, whose identities are being established.

        The fire has been extinguished. Law enforcement officers from the capital region, rescuers, and medics are working at the scene.

        In Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district, a 17-story residential building was hit, but there was no subsequent fire. The roof and walls of the technical floor, the windows of the upper floors, and parked cars were damaged.

        No information about casualties has been received.
