Russian troops massively attacked Odesa with drone strikes on the night of February 19, causing widespread destruction and power outages.
According to Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov, more than 500 homes, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens and a children’s clinic were left without electricity and heat.

One of Odesa’s largest districts, Kyivskyi, with a population of over 250,000 people, was hit. Experts are assessing the impact and working to restore electricity and heat supply.
So far, one person has been reported injured and is receiving medical assistance. Meanwhile, the authorities are deploying heating stations.
Due to the lack of electricity and heat in Kyivskyi district of Odesa, full-time classes in schools and kindergartens were canceled today.
