In Kyiv, people gathered to say their last goodbyes to 24-year-old Nadiya and her 2-year-old daughter Angelina, who were killed in a combined Russian missile and drone strike on the night of August 28. The attack completely destroyed an entire entrance of a five-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district.
Residents of the ruined building and neighboring houses, along with relatives, friends of Nadiya and her husband Maksym, and former classmates, came to mourn the mother and child. Alongside flowers, people brought children’s toys.
