JFO “Khortytsia”: Measures are being taken to prevent deterioration of tactical situation in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled a series of attacks by Russian troops in several directions. The enemy continues to attack, using armoured vehicles and numerical superiority, but the Defence Forces are steadfastly holding their positions. This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation Center ‘Khortytsia’.

Kharkiv and Kupyansk directions

Russian troops tried to break through the defences in Vovchansk, Starytsia, Zahryzove and Lozova. They used armoured vehicles to attack near Zahryzove, but our defenders damaged two combat vehicles.

Limanskyi sector

The enemy attacked in the areas of Nadiya, Terny, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka and Serebryansky forest. All attempts were repelled, the enemy was not successful.

Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions in Chasovyi Yar, in the direction of Stupochky and Bila Hora. In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk. Some Ukrainian positions were destroyed by enemy fire. Work is underway to identify and eliminate enemy assault groups.

Pokrovsk sector

The enemy attacked in the areas of Mirolyubivka, Lysivka, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Slovianka, Dachenske, Solone and Novovasylivka. Some of our positions were destroyed. Measures are being taken to prevent the tactical situation from deteriorating.

Kurakhove sector

Enemy attacks in the urban area of Kurakhove and in the direction of Yantarne and Dachne were repelled. The enemy continues to amass forces for new attacks.

Vremivka sector

Enemy assault groups attacked in the vicinity of Zelenivka and in the direction of Kostyantynopil, but failed. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line.
