Former Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat confirmed the information of MP Mariana Bezuhla that many soldiers from Air Force units are being sent to the infantry.

‘Yes, I confirm, they are being sent! Not from good times… and a lot of them, and it is very painful for the Air Force. And, of course, this has a certain impact on the overall picture. But there are appropriate decisions, we have to implement them, and you understand why!’ commented the former speaker of the AF.

At the same time, Ihnat said that Bezuhla was manipulating the data.

‘Let me explain why Mariana’s office is lying! Not only the Air Force, but all the Defence Forces are shooting down chessmen (as I personally write in the morning reports of the Air Force and see the WHOLE!!! picture) – the Air Force, the Army, the Navy, the Airborne Forces, the Border Guard and everyone else who has what it takes.

For example, this morning, according to the results of combat work, chessmen were shot down thanks to the joint efforts of ALL the Defence Forces, I will not be specific (I have no right)!

In the end, the percentage of downed ‘shaheds’ has not decreased at all, there are daily official reports! Let me explain once again – for the second month in a row, along with the Shaheeds, there is something else flying, as they say, ‘made of shit and sticks’, which we call ‘UAVs of unspecified type’ in our reports. Half of them are marked as ‘locally lost’.

Therefore, the lie about ‘less drones being shot down’ is obvious!’ Yuriy Ihnat wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, Bezugla said that the number of downed shahids in Ukraine had become worse. According to her, this is due to the fact that air defence personnel are being transferred to the infantry.

The MP also claimed that aircraft technicians and doctors from hospitals were sent to the front line.
