        Heavy Russian Strikes Hit Ukraine Overnight: Civilian Areas Damaged, Casualties Reported

        On the night of July 19, Russian forces launched massive attacks on several regions of Ukraine, according to local officials.

        In the central Dnipropetrovsk region, the city of Pavlohrad came under one of the heaviest attacks so far. Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional administration, said Russian troops targeted the city with missiles and drones, hitting a fire station, industrial facilities and a five-story apartment building. Fires broke out in several locations. Explosions were also reported in the regional capital Dnipro and surrounding areas, where two private houses were damaged. In the Nikopol district, Russian forces used FPV drones and artillery to strike local communities, damaging a minibus. One man, 57, was injured in the town of Marhanets.

        In the northern Sumy region, the town of Shostka was attacked for nearly four hours by Russian drones overnight. The head of the regional administration, Oleh Hryhorov, said civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged, but there were no casualties reported at this stage.

        In the southern port city of Odesa, Russian drones struck overnight despite Ukrainian air defense efforts. According to regional governor Oleh Kiper, apartment buildings and other civilian facilities were damaged. One person was killed and at least three were injured. Emergency services are working at all affected sites to deal with the aftermath.
