Google has announced the release of its Gemini 3 artificial intelligence model, marking the next stage in the development of the company’s generative AI lineup. The new version is now being integrated into Search, the Gemini app and developer platforms.

Google has introduced Gemini 3, the latest generation of its artificial intelligence model. The release marks another step in the evolution of the Gemini initiative, launched by the company nearly two years ago.

According to Google, each generation of the model has gradually expanded the system’s abilities. Gemini 1 brought multimodality and a longer context window, Gemini 2 improved complex reasoning and became the foundation for agent-driven features, while Gemini 2.5 Pro held top performance rankings for more than six months.

Gemini 3, the company says, focuses on stronger understanding of user context and intent, as well as deeper analytical capabilities. Google notes that the model handles multi-layered queries more effectively and interprets tasks with greater precision, reducing the need for detailed prompting.

With the release, Google has begun large-scale implementation of the model across its products. Gemini 3 is being added to Search — the first time a new version has launched on the same day it was announced. It is also available in the Gemini app, in AI Studio and Vertex AI for developers, and on the company’s new agent-development platform, Google Antigravity.

Google says it will continue advancing intelligent systems, personalization tools and agent technologies, aiming to further expand the capabilities of the Gemini lineup.
