The ambassadors of the G7 countries held an urgent meeting with Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko and representatives of key energy companies — Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrenergo, and Energoatom.
According to a post on the official account of the G7 Ambassadors Support Group for Ukraine on X, during the meeting, the parties discussed the consequences of new Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy and civilian infrastructure and agreed on further steps to counter further strikes.
The G7 ambassadors emphasized the partners’ readiness to help Ukraine restore damaged facilities, strengthen energy resilience, and meet the most urgent needs ahead of the winter season.
