As of 4:00 p.m. on August 3, 2025, Ukrainian forces have engaged in 116 combat clashes along the front line. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defenders continue to repel Russian assaults, hold the line, and disrupt the enemy’s plans.
Russian artillery shelling today targeted several settlements in Sumy and Kharkiv regions, including Yastrubshchyna, Velyka Pysarivka, Sorokyne, Starykove, Brusky, Bila Bereza, Khliborob, Pokrovka, Babyne, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Prohres, Stara Huta, and Tymofiivka.
On the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk axes, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks, with three engagements still ongoing. The enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropping 17 guided bombs and launching 143 artillery barrages, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Vovchansk, Fyholivka, and Krasne Pershe.
On the Kupiansk axis, seven enemy assaults were repelled near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Nova Kruhlakivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 13 times near Karpivka, Torske, and Hryhorivka, as well as in the directions of Serednie, Cherneshchyna, and Shandryholove. Two battles are ongoing.
On the Siversk axis, one attack was repelled, while three others continue near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk.
On the Kramatorsk axis, four Russian assaults were repelled near Markove and in the direction of Bila Hora and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, nine assaults took place near Rusyn Yar, Shcherbynivka, and Katerynivka.
The fiercest fighting continues on the Pokrovsk axis, where 38 combat clashes occurred in areas near Popiv Yar, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Orikhove, as well as toward Novoukrainka, Novopidhorodne, Rodynske, and Chervonyi Lyman. Three engagements are still ongoing.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Russian troops launched 14 assaults near Zaporizhzhia, Novokhatske, Voskresenka, Zelene Pole, Myrne, Maliivka, Temyrivka, Novopil, and toward the village of Levadne. One battle is still underway.
No combat engagements were reported today in the Huliaipole, Orikhiv, or Prydniprovske sectors. However, the enemy conducted airstrikes on Kherson, Novoandriivka, and L’vove.
