        Five rescuers killed in Kharkiv during a repeated Russian strike, several others injured

        During the night of June 15, rescuers in Kharkiv came under a repeated Russian strike while extinguishing a fire caused by an earlier attack. Five State Emergency Service employees were killed, and at least five others were injured.

        The information was reported by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

        The rescuers were working at the site of the attack when Russian forces launched a second strike.

        According to Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov, missile strikes were recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi district. A 40-year-old and a 30-year-old man suffered blast injuries and were hospitalized in serious condition. Later, authorities reported another victim — a 36-year-old man who received emergency medical assistance.

        Russian forces also attacked the Shevchenkivskyi district with a strike drone. The impact caused a garage and dry grass to catch fire. Later, another victim was reported. A 34-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
