European defense company MBDA and Ukraine’s Luch Design Bureau have signed a memorandum of understanding on the further development of the NEPTUNE2 missile. The parties plan to work on enhancing the missile’s deep-strike capabilities.

MBDA and the Luch Design Bureau signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of missile systems development. The company noted that the agreement concerns further work on the NEPTUNE2 cruise missile.
MBDA is a European manufacturer of advanced missile systems. The company has the technology, expertise, and international partnerships required to develop deep-strike systems.
Ukraine’s Luch Design Bureau has experience in the design, development, integration, and production of advanced weapon systems.
Under the agreement, the parties plan to work on enhancing the deep-strike capabilities of the NEPTUNE2 and deepening defense cooperation with Ukraine.
