On the night of 11 June, drones attacked the Tambov gunpowder plant. According to local residents, at least 15 explosions were heard in the city of Kotovsk.
The ASTRA Telegram channel reports that after the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the plant. This is confirmed by footage taken on the spot, which shows familiar landmarks, including two red and white pipes belonging to the plant.
The Tambov Powder Plant is one of the largest ammunition manufacturers in Russia. It specialises in the production of gunpowder and explosive components for various types of weapons. The company has been under sanctions since March 2023.
