Over 70 combat engagements have occurred since the beginning of the day. The occupiers continue to use aviation, including drones, and launch attacks in nearly all directions in the east and south of our country, particularly in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.
This was stated in the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.
The enemy continues to use artillery and aircraft in the Sumy region, with Basovka coming under fire. Additionally, enemy aircraft struck near Zhuravka, dropping two guided aerial bombs. According to available information, the Russians conducted nine air strikes on their own territory in the Kursk region, using 13 guided missile systems.
- In the Kharkiv sector, four combat engagements took place today. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks in the Vovchansk and Starytsia areas. The enemy also carried out air strikes near Tsyrkuny, Kozacha Lopan, and Vovchansk, deploying seven aerial combat vehicles.
- In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled nine assaults near Kucherivka, Zahryzove, Kruhlyakivka, and Kolisnykivka, with three more firefights still ongoing.
- In the Liman sector, the enemy conducted attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, Terny, and Cherneshchyna, resulting in four combat engagements since the beginning of the day.
- In the Siversk sector, the occupiers are actively using aviation, conducting six air strikes. Since morning, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack near Verkhnekamianske.
- In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy deployed attack aircraft and fired eight unguided missiles near Novomarkove.
- With air support, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka in the Toretsk sector, and one firefight is currently ongoing.
- In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Yurivka, Hryhorivka, and Petrivka, with six engagements still ongoing.
- In the Kurakhove sector, four enemy attacks were repelled, and 19 firefights are currently ongoing in the areas of Nova Illinka, Berestky, Voznesenka, Sontsovka, Zorya, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Kurakhove, and Antonivka.
- In the Vremivsk sector, two enemy attacks near Trudove were repelled, and the enemy dropped six guided aerial bombs near Velyka Novosilka.
- In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders used aircraft near Novodanilivka and Novoandriivka.
- In the Prydniprovsky sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack.
