President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that despite clear signals from US President Donald Trump about the need for peace, Russia continues to attack Ukrainian cities and villages.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram.
Over the past day, 22 people were killed and 85 more were injured as a result of Russian strikes. In total, 73 settlements came under fire. Among the victims was a 23-year-old pregnant woman who died during a missile strike on a hospital in Kamianske. Also at night, Russian aircraft attacked a correctional colony in Zaporizhia region, as a result of which 17 people were killed and 43 more were injured.
The President emphasized that such actions by the Kremlin indicate a deliberate disregard for diplomatic calls and require tough sanctions pressure. He thanked all of Ukraine’s partners for their support and, in particular, President Trump for his clear position on ending the war.
