A special operation is ongoing in Pokrovsk, in one of the city’s areas important for front-line logistics. Fierce fighting with Russian occupiers continues in the area.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).
After a successful airborne operation, additional forces of the unit joined DIU special operators who had taken up designated positions by breaking through a ground corridor.
Combat work continues, aimed at eliminating enemy attempts to expand fire influence on logistics within DIU’s area of responsibility.
“Other special units of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine are also performing combat missions in the sector. For the safety of the personnel involved, the details of the operations are not being disclosed at this time,” the statement said.
