DeepState project experts report that Russian troops are gradually expanding their foothold on the western bank of the Oskil River in Kharkiv region. After the capture of Masiutivka, the occupiers began to advance towards Dvorichna, where they are already gradually occupying the settlement.
Russian forces are actively deploying infantry in the area and consolidating their positions in an attempt to hold the occupied territory. In particular, the foothold in Masiutivka is gradually being transformed into a new outpost near Dvorichna.
However, the situation with the organisation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the area is worrying. Experts note problems with the combat training of individual brigades and the lack of proper administration of the process, which complicates the clearing of the bridgehead. According to DeepState, even the arrival of units to stabilise the situation does not produce the expected result due to a lack of forces and means.
Experts urge the high command to pay attention to this area to prevent further expansion of the enemy’s control zone. Delay could lead to serious consequences in the future.
