        Death toll rises to 12 after residential building struck in Poltava

        Search and rescue operations continue at the site of a Russian strike on a five-storey building in Poltava.

        According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the death toll has risen to 12 people, including 2 children. One person died in hospital.

        17 injured, including 4 children. 22 people were rescued.

        Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police helped 194 people, including 11 children.

        On the morning of 1 February, Russia fired a missile at a residential building in Poltava.

        The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed and a fire broke out. Neighbouring houses and 12 cars were damaged.
