Death toll from air strike in Zaporizhzhya region rises to two

As of 16:00 on May 29, the death toll from the bombing of Zaporizhzhia region has risen to two. At least three people are known to have been wounded, the number of victims is being clarified.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region.

As a reminder, on the morning of May 29, Russian troops launched at least five attacks with guided aerial bombs on one of the settlements in the Pologovsk district.

“During search and rescue operations, rescuers pulled a man from the rubble of a destroyed house and handed him over to doctors. He died due to injuries incompatible with life,” the statement said.

A residential building was destroyed with a subsequent fire. Rescuers eliminated the fire.
