The Chief of Staff of the 41st Brigade of Missile Ships and Boats of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Valeriy Trankovsky, was eliminated in Sevastopol.
This is reported by hromadske with reference to a source in the SBU.
As a result of the car bombing, Trankovsky was seriously injured – he lost his legs and suffered significant blood loss, which led to his death.
It is known that explosives were planted under the bottom of the car in the front part, but the occupation authorities of the peninsula stated that “the causes of the explosion are still being investigated”.
Trankovsky gave orders to launch cruise missiles at Ukrainian cities from the Black Sea, which led to the deaths of civilians.
“It is symbolic that a Russian war criminal with the blood of peaceful Ukrainians on his hands died on Taras Shevchenko Street in Sevastopol,” the SBU emphasized.
