Blackout schedules canceled in Ukraine

On Tuesday, December 17, for the first time in a long time, Ukraine will not apply blackout schedules.

If the situation changes, it will be announced additionally, the press service of NPC Ukrenergo said.

At the same time, power engineers urged consumers to use electricity sparingly, in particular, to avoid turning on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time between 8:00 and 22:00.

Currently, Ukraine continues to restore its energy infrastructure after Russia’s massive attacks that damaged thermal and hydroelectric power plants and transformer substations.
