Soldiers of the Azov Brigade captured 23 Russian soldiers in the Toretsk sector.
This was reported by the brigade’s press service.
“All of them were captured by the fighters of the 12th Azov Brigade during hostilities in the Toretsk sector. Their health is satisfactory, and they are provided with adequate detention conditions.,” the brigade said.
The Russian servicemen will then be handed over to the relevant services.
“We expect them to be exchanged for captured Ukrainian defenders soon,” the brigade summarized.

On January 15, another prisoner exchange took place between Ukraine and Russia. Twenty-five Ukrainian soldiers and one civilian returned home.
Among those released are defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, as well as Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. They have serious injuries and illnesses.
