        Armed Forces of Ukraine: Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones – over 800

        The Russian army carried out a combined attack on Ukraine using drones and ground-based missiles. A total of 805 drones were used, both strike drones and simulators. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        This is a record number. The previous maximum was recorded on the night of 9 July, when Russia used 728 drones and missiles.

        According to the Air Force, 13 Iskander missiles were also launched during the latest attack. As of 08:30, Ukrainian defenders had ‘shot down or suppressed’ 751 air targets – 747 drones and four missiles.

        At the same time, nine missiles and 56 strike drones were recorded hitting 37 settlements. The attack is still ongoing, with several drones remaining in the air, the Armed Forces warned.
