On the night of 1 June (from 19.30 on 31 May), the enemy attacked with 479 air attack vehicles, the Ukrainian Air Force Command reports.
In particular, Russia used:
- 472 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones;
- 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 4 air- and ground-launched cruise missiles X-101, Iskander-K.
The main areas of air strikes are Kharkiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Donetsk, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions.
According to preliminary data, as of 13.30, air defence defences neutralised 385 enemy air attack vehicles: 210 enemy Shahed UAVs (other types of drones) and 3 X-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles in the east, south, north, west and centre of the country. 213 were shot down by firepower, 172 were locally lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
Enemy air strikes were recorded in 18 locations.
