        After Russian attack, Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Ministry and National Bank buildings damaged in Kyiv

        Buildings of Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Bank of Ukraine were damaged during a massive Russian attack on Kyiv overnight on May 24. According to officials, no one was injured.

        Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said the blast wave shattered windows in the government headquarters building during the overnight attack.

        “During Russia’s night attack on Kyiv, the headquarters of the Ukrainian government was damaged, with windows blown out by the explosion. Fortunately, no one was injured,” she wrote on X.

        Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said the building of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry also sustained minor damage due to explosions nearby.

        “Looking at the shattered windows this morning, I can confidently say on behalf of our entire diplomatic team: Russian terrorists will not force us to stop,” the foreign minister said.

        National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andrii Pyshnyi also reported damage following the overnight attack. According to him, the NBU building “slightly felt the consequences of the night attack.”

        “We will repair everything and restore everything. Tomorrow we will start the working day as usual. Everyone is alive, no employees were injured,” Pyshnyi wrote.

        He added that buildings and branches of several Ukrainian banks were also damaged in the attack.
