Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the Holy See’s Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations, visited the site of a Russian missile strike in Kyiv. The attack destroyed residential infrastructure and killed civilians.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this.

During the visit, representatives of the State Emergency Service’s Main Directorate in Kyiv briefed the guests on the work of rescuers responding to the aftermath of Russian attacks.
The archbishop was told about emergency rescue operations and the daily work of personnel amid the constant threat of repeated strikes.
The State Emergency Service thanked the Holy See for providing humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people and for its solidarity and support for Ukraine.
The agency stressed that such visits demonstrate international attention to the consequences of Russian aggression and support for Ukrainian civilians and rescuers.
